Assists & Adjustments

25hr training with Helen Russell-Clark

in-person & written

Saturday 31st October - Monday 2nd November 2026

at Kindred Studio

WHAT TO EXPECT

Providing hands-on adjustments is such an important and special aspect of teaching yoga asana. Receiving an assist can be enlightening, transformative, and healing for our students.

This 25-hour course is crafted to impart the fundamentals of hands-on adjustments. We will explore the nature of touch – its benefits and the sensitivity that surrounds it. Group collaboration will foster creativity in determining how to assist in specific poses. Engaging in smaller groups or partnerships will build confidence in working with a diversity of people while taking into account body type, lived experience, and physical ability.

The application of these tools will empower you to intelligently and confidently assist your students in a safe and inclusive manner, enabling them to get the maximum benefit from their practice.

This course spans three days, with accreditation of 25 hours upon completion, along with a case study homework.

Dates: 31st October - 2nd November 2026
Timing:13:00-20:00 Saturday & Sunday, 9:00-18:00 Monday
