The training

Why choose this training?

Because life is too short for boring plans.

This 50-hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training isn't just another course—it's everything I've learned, practiced, and refined over years of working with children, lovingly poured into one comprehensive program designed to set you up for success.

What makes it different:

Illustrated plans that actually inspire. Forget dry, text-heavy lesson plans. Every class template in this course is beautifully illustrated and designed to spark your creativity, not stifle it. You'll receive ready-to-use plans that children (and you!) will love.

Real-world, tested content. Every module, every activity, every tip comes from actual experience teaching children's yoga in schools, nurseries, and community classes. This isn't theory—it's what works.

Grounded in kinaesthetic pedagogy and child development theory. Children learn by doing, moving, and experiencing. You'll master embodied teaching methods, sensory-based learning approaches, and neurodiversity-informed pedagogy that meet children exactly where they are—physically, emotionally, and developmentally.

Playful, creative, and fun. Yoga for children should be full of imagination, laughter, and movement. This training celebrates play as a powerful teaching tool and shows you how to bring that magic into every class.

Comprehensive support for your whole journey. From safeguarding and class management to building your business and marketing your services, you'll graduate with everything you need to teach confidently and grow sustainably.

Accredited and professional. Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) accredited, giving you the credentials and confidence to teach anywhere.

By the end of this course:

  • You’ll have a deep understanding of what kids need to thrive and be joyful little beings!

  • You’ll discover how teaching yoga to children helps them navigate the world with confidence and calm.

  • You’ll master techniques for teaching children from ages 3- 11, learning fun and engaging activities that captivate their attention.

  • You’ll explore how to blend creative art activities into your sessions, unlocking extra benefits for young minds.

  • You’ll also dive into the magic of family yoga classes and how to sequence a lively yoga dance routine that kids will love.

  • Importantly, you’ll gain practical skills to promote your classes and turn your passion for kids’ yoga into a rewarding, money-making adventure!

About Laura

I'm a Yoga Alliance accredited experienced yoga teacher, an Early Years and Primary School teacher, and an Artist Educator—and Laura's Yoga Club was born out of my love for three things: children, yoga, and art.

Why I created this training:

For seven years, I taught in primary schools across Manchester and London, and I saw the same challenge again and again: children were being fast-tracked through an intense academic curriculum and a whirlwind of social challenges, but they weren't being given the tools to understand their bodies, minds, or emotions.

When I started teaching yoga to children, I witnessed something powerful. Children became better able to articulate how they felt, understand their emotions, cope with stress, develop body awareness, and self-regulate.

Why my approach is different:

As an Artist Educator with a Masters from UCL in arts education, I learned that children thrive when we shift from product-driven to process-led learning—giving them freedom to explore, create, and discover rather than following rigid, prescribed plans. I've brought this philosophy into every aspect of my children's yoga teaching.

There's a beautiful link between yoga and art: both invite playfulness, imagination, and self-expression. This training weaves them together to equip you with creative, inspiring, joyful ways to teach children's yoga—because life is too short for boring plans.

Everything I've learned—from the classroom, from museums and galleries, from years of teaching yoga to little ones—has been lovingly poured into this course to help you bring a toolbox of skills to the children you'll work with.
