Physically // Mentally // Emotionally // Spiritually

through this very important time of transition before and after pregnancy.

This Course is particularly useful for yoga teachers, yoga graduates, birth workers, midwives and doulas who are passionate about raising the standard of guided postnatal recovery and individual care through yoga.

Participants in the course can expect a supportive environment for interactive learning, open discussions, practical experience of teaching, observations, feedback, how to build classes and the importance of a safe community at this time.

They will gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to hold safe, balanced classes that address ways to effectively release tension, balance the nervous system, realign, strengthen the postnatal body and how to include babies within the practice succesfully.

Our participants will leave feeling inspired to create their own inclusive, accessible, group classes that parents and babies enjoy and benefit from.

Part 2: Postnatal Yoga Training

Postnatal Yoga Training: 25 hours

This training focuses on the multi-faceted healing journey of the postnatal parent directly after giving birth and the many months to a year that follow.

This unique training is parent focused, whilst still including babies within the classes. We take a thorough dive into all the elements that build firm foundations to rebuild vitality and strength from the inside out after childbirth.

Participants will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to support individuals within their group classes.

Every parent has a unique birthing experience and may require techniques specific to their personal healing, working with special considerations including diastasis (muscle separation) prolapse, coccyx pain and anxiety.

We will also learn when it is important to refer individuals to other specialists.

Toni Osborne has been teaching postnatal yoga full-time for over ten years with glowing testimonials and students returning with their second, third and fourth babies and has also applied the shared principles for her own postnatal healing, strongly believing that we can feel much stronger after we birth our babies, if we allow ourselves to start again with loving kindness from the beginning, starting with our breath.

“The heart of postnatal healing starts with the breath, our prana, our life force. The breath is the foundation that influences the physical, mental and emotional aspects of postpartum recovery”

Toni Osborne
