Focussing on how yoga can enrich the daily experience of pregnant students.

The Course

Pregnancy is a time of profound physical, emotional and psychological change and yoga can provide stability, a safe, holistic and supportive space where individuals can cultivate a deeper connection with themselves, their babies and their community.

The first part is a comprehensive 8 day intensive (In Studio) training at Kindred Yoga Studio with Senior Yoga Teacher Toni Osborne focuses on how yoga can enrich the daily experience of pregnancy through such a special time of transformation. And how ancient wisdom, holistic practices and evidence based techniques can positively affect the outcome and experience of labour and childbirth which is an incredible honour to share and be a small part of.

Participants on the course can expect a supportive environment for interactive learning, open discussions, practical experience of teaching, observations, feedback, how to build classes and a community.

They will gain the knowledge, skill and confidence to hold safe, balanced classes that address strength, flexibility, relaxation and mindfulness specific to pregnancy and how to also integrate pregnant students within their general classes.

Our participants will leave feeling inspired to create their own inclusive, accessible yet creative classes that align with their own personal style of teaching.

Our Aim

Participants in the course can expect a supportive environment for interactive learning, open discussions, practical experience of teaching, observations, feedback, how to build classes and the importance of a safe community at this time.

They will learn how to tailor the practice to support the varying needs of each student within a group class and individually for private yoga sessions.

Who this programme is for

This Course is particularly useful for yoga teachers, yoga graduates, birth workers, midwives and doulas who are passionate about raising the standard of guided prenatal movement and care through yoga.
